In the Community

The MIA Network is committed to assisting those in need and we encourage our people to join with us whenever they can.

Workplace Giving

As part of the I-MED Network, we support the Helping Hands Workplace Giving Program enables affordable staff giving through a transparent and trustworthy payroll donation program. Through this program our staff can chose to donate to our ten workplace giving charity partners: beyondblue, Leukaemia Foundation, Make-a-Wish Foundation, McGrath Foundation, The Smith Family, Mission Australia, Cancer Council, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the RSPCA.

Community Sponsorship

Giving back to the community is an important goal for MIA Radiology and the I-MED Radiology Network. In 2018, I-MED Radiology has begun a partnership with Radiology Across Borders to further enable their work over time. Radiology Across Borders provides radiology training to local doctors in developing nations - with the aim of enabling better diagnostic outcomes that ultimately save lives. The organisation works predominantly in the Asia-Pacific region by delivering on-site training, lectures and online modules. It also helps to establish much-needed infrastructure such as teleradiology services. They rely on volunteers such as radiologists, radiographers and sonographers who offer their time, expertise and passion to deliver these outcomes.

I-MED Radiology Network is also a proud supporter of Redkite, a national not for profit organisation that supports children, young people and their families through cancer by providing emotional support, financial assistance and educational services. Our work with Redkite supports a common goal of helping to support people and their families and carers on the cancer journey. Our activities include donations, community volunteering and co-promotion of Redkite services, through our Customer Relationship Manager and Clinic Team to GPs, Oncologists and patients. Since 2016, I-MED Radiology Network has donated more than $145,000 to Redkite.

In the past, I-MED Radiology Network has also supported the McGrath Foundation, donating more than $700,000 to support the addition of McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia, as well as increasing breast awareness in young women.
